Atascosa County Amateur Radio Club sponsors an open DMR net on the 2nd & 4th Fridays of the month. Any/all operators who have DMRs and are on the Brandmeister system are welcome to join us. Talk Group 3224442 is our location, and the net is either 7:30 pm or 8:00 pm (I forgot which!).
Gilbert Cumberledge - KF5LLT or myself are the usual Net Control Operators. Currently, it is a bit of a net check-in and minor rag-chew; but if we have enough interest, we’ll try to minimize the r.c part.
If you have a DMR and are set up for the Brandmeister system (as compared to the C-Bridge system), you are welcome to join us. Be prepared to give your call sign, handle, and location as we try to run a 'tight net.
As a point of knowledge, DMR is just another tool in our bag of communications; the only way to become competent is to use it.
